We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning/AI Scientist intern to join our Services AI Engineering team. The successful candidate will be a part of our AI innovations group driving advanced research and development for future KLA use-cases. This individual will play a key role in architecting, developing, and testing their research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research emerging AI technologies focused on multimodal models and AI databases
• Design, develop, and deploy proof of concepts from research
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into our existing systems and workflow
• Participate in AI research and systems architecture discussions and code reviews
• Conduct data engineering and analysis to improve model accuracy and efficiency
• Fine-tune models based on feedback and performance metrics

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree and above in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in machine learning, natural language processing, and AI technologies
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML libraries (Ex. TensorFlow, Pytorch)
• Experience with developing and deploying large language models either cloud or on-premise
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps
• Prior experience in a similar industry is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

The range displayed reflects the pay for this position in the primary location identified in this posting.
