Sybase Database Developer

work 3d / week on-site in Weehawken, New Jersey, US

Project Description :

Responsibilities :

  • Working in Database Development team
  • Perform functional, unit, regression & capacity testing for all changes, in collaboration with the development team.
  • Review test results with stakeholders - take back any required changes to the team via daily stand-ups and updated user stories

Mandatory Skills Description :

  • Hands-on expert-level knowledge in Sybase Database development
  • Hands-on experience in Unix
  • Experience in analyzing and resolving real-time production issues, including performance issues
  • Experience in writing complex queries and generating ad-hoc reports from the database, in real-time, based on user requests
  • Database Management System (DBMS)

    • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Java knowledge
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle
  • Perl
