Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a multi-modality CT / XR Technologist for a night shift contract requiring ARRT, BLS, and an active IN state license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a short-term acute care hospital in the CT department
  • Perform both CT and general X-ray imaging using 2 Phillips IQon CT scanners, 2 Siemens DR X-ray rooms, Carestream portable units, and Phillips equipment
  • Serve adult and pediatric inpatients, outpatients, emergency, and stroke cases at a Stroke 1 Accredited Hospital
  • Night shift schedule : Friday and Saturday, 6 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM, with on-call required one weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per month
  • Must be comfortable working alone at times
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Allied positions and surgical services positions will accept local candidates
  • Must work two out of three major holidays during contract
  • Scrub color is royal blue
  • Free parking is available on site
  • Returning employees must be separated for at least 12 months before reapplying as a traveler

  • Current ARRT certification and BLS required
  • Active Indiana state license required if applicable
  • Minimum 18 months to 2 years CT and X-ray technologist experience
  • Experience with Siemens, Carestream, and Phillips equipment preferred
  • Must be able to perform both CT and general X-ray imaging
  • Must have completed education at a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE
  • Ability to work night shifts and meet holiday coverage requirements
