Overview
Backend Software Engineer : Java (Big Data)
W2 Contract
Salary Range : $114,400 - $135,200 per year
Location : Cupertino, CA - Remote Role
Requirements and Qualifications :
- 5-7+ years of current proficiency in Java building services at a large scale in a Big Data environment
- Expertise in Distributed Systems & object-oriented programming is required
- Application deployment using Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience building client & server APIs using JSON, GRPC, and REST, Swagger / OpenAPI
- Experience with Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, Zookeeper
- Experience & knowledge of Prometheus (integrating metrics into Prometheus) and Open Telemetry
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, Jersey, Jackson, Spring Boot, Junit
- Experience with MacOS, IntelliJ, Git / GitHub
- Have familiarity and are comfortable working with a MacBook
