Bloem is a dynamic organization dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join the logistics team. The Logistics Clerk will allocate, route and prepare documentation for outbound customer orders. They will also maintain communication with the customer and/or logistical partner to facilitate shipping of outbound orders.
You will:
- Prepare and process outbound orders physically and systematically so that sales orders are shipped efficiently and on time.
- Daily communications with drivers, which entails checking in with the drivers upon arrival, documenting time in and time out and facilitating the driver/logistical experience with Bloem.
- Enters and maintains records on the weight, destination, charges, and shipping documentation for outbound orders.
- Communicates confirmation of freight deliveries to internal customers.
- Maintains dock scheduling for both inbound and outbound loads.
- Interact with carriers regarding service issues to maintain a good rapport for efficient deliveries.
- Compare identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records and maintain related records.
- Aid all other departments as needed, ie; tracking shipments, freight quotes for customer service/sales, etc. to ensure overall accuracy.
What you will bring:
- 3-5 years Distribution and Administrative experience required.
- Intermediate Excel skills required.
- Must have a collaborative approach and work well within a team.
- Must have excellent communication skills within all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage tight deadlines.
- Must have the ability to work off-hours and overtime, ie; weekend and/or extended work week hours.
