This is an academic position with an appointment at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. The successful candidate will conduct research and publich in their area of expertise. Individuals who are interested/experienced will be able to participate in established programs in Ultrasound, Injury Prevention, Health Services Utilization, Global Health and Medical Simulation. In addition, he/she will develop, implement and maintain a teaching program in his/her area of expertise whithin Emergency Medicine. A minimum of 20% protected time will be allocated for academic work, depending on previous experience and funding.
Qualifications
1. Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship trained; 2, Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine; 3. Interest and expertise in teaching and/or conducting research in an area of Pediatric Emergency Medicine; 4. Meets requirements and obtaines Rhode Island Medical Licensure and clinical privileges in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children's Hospital. Preferred: 1. Demonstrated expertise is an area within Pediatric Emerency Medicine including particpation in ultrasound, curriculum development, clinical research and grant writing.
