[job_card.job_description]Safely operate various industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, turret) Consistently meet and exceed expectations in all areas (picking, packing, meter and shipping) Manage and process complex or large customer order (LTL and Small Parcel) Conduct thorough checks of customer orders, identifying, recording and fixing errors Pack customer orders to ensure safe transportation Navigate Softeon menus to pack orders, process shipments, and resolve minor software errors Check, pack and ship international and special-handling orders Generate necessary shipping labels and documents for shipments Close, load and unload LTL trucks Train and mentor employees in picking, packing, meter and shipping Assist in receiving products, breaking down pallets, sorting items by SKU, and counting items by SKU before placing them into inventory Maintain cleanliness, safety and organization in the work area Participating in physical inventories as required Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Health / Dental / Vision insurance Flexible spending account Dependent spending account Company Paid Life insurance & Supplemental Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Short & Long Term Disability Paid time off & Paid Holidays Referral program Company BBQs and other team events Physical Requirements : Must be in good physical condition Must be able to stand and / or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks) Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must have good hand / eye coordination. High school diploma or equivalent At least 3 years of distribution center experience At least 1 year experience on Softeon Skills / Abilities : Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including : Hand trucks Pallet jacks Forklifts – Stand-up / Sit-down Order / Cherry picker Bendi Forklift experience a plus Turret Truck experience a plus Must be comfortable using equipment and elevating to heights ranging from 18ft to 30ft Must be flexible – OT and weekend are required as needed Must be able to read and write in English Basic math & computer skills Must be a team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic whether they are working with others or working unsupervised.
