Engineering Technician - Contractor - C

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Engineering Technician

Position Type : Full time Contract, Contract to Hire

Duration : 6- 12 months

Location : Tempe, AZ 85281

Shift : 1st shift (Mon-Thu 6 AM – 2 : 30 PM)

As an Engineering Technician you will

• Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and / or optical areas.
• Assist in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment.
• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Work from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• May work with complex machines or computer systems.
• Operate related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks, make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
• Work, with small fragile parts and follow work instructions consistently and make operation entries on computer terminals. Keeping work area orderly and clean.
• Notify Production Supervisor, if a defect is identified, to obtain guidance and assistance, in resolving the problem.
• Adherence to policies and procedures including EH&S, ESD, FOD, Quality, OSHA, MSDS and housekeeping.
