Are you a proactive, detail-oriented person with great communication skills and a passion for customer service? Butler Machinery wants you to be a Service Advisor, coordinating and scheduling service technician’s time, invoicing work orders, and communicating quotes, job status and scheduling.

Responsibilities :
- Service Scheduling & Monitoring
Routinely monitors equipment hours and generator service schedules to ensure contracted services are completed within the correct hour and date ranges.
Assign jobs and work areas to Service Technicians based on skills and knowledge.Schedules CVAs from a regional perspective to ensure that regional resources are being used efficiently.Quoting & Vendor CoordinationSupports the Service Manager in preparing accurate quotes and estimates for CVAs(Customer Value Agreement – including parts only CVAs) and Goldstars service contracts and upcoming jobs. Ensures precision by conducting on-site customer visits as needed to validate requirements and deliver exceptional customer service.
Supports the Service Manager with coordinating and scheduling with third-party vendors for parts and services.Quality & ComplianceReviews all repair work orders for accuracy concerning parts, materials and labor, and approves the release of equipment for delivery to the customer.
Implement Contamination Control Guidelines and adhere to all safety rules, policies, and company standards.Promote and uphold the company’s vision, mission, and values.Customer RelationsWork closely with systems coordinator, project manager, and customer account manager for generator start ups.
Proactively seeks customer feedback, address concerns, and resolve issues promptly. Advises Service Manager of all customer complaints.Maintain a professional image in all customer and community interactions.Team Leadership & CollaborationAssists in setting priorities for multiple jobs and support team workflow.
Responds to employee issues and foster a positive, professional working environment.Participates in department meetings, customer events, and company communication efforts.Provide timely feedback, recognize performance, and motivate employee development.Coach employees on assignments and offer technical guidance as needed.Recruit, train, and develop team members in alignment with department goals.Technical Expertise & DevelopmentExhibit strong technical and product knowledge of all equipment sold within the dealership’s area.
Engage in company-sponsored training to enhance skills and knowledge.Operational SupportCollaborate with the Service Manager on department performance, profitability, and efficiency.
Act as backup for the Service Manager when needed.Handles after-hours calls on a rotating basis to support customers and technicians.Other DutiesPerform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications :
