Job Title : Cardiovascular Technologist

License : RCIS or RCES
Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (only required at specific locations)
Must-Have : Team player, flexible, accustomed to fast-paced environment
Description :
Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required.
Responsibilities include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and / or Structural Heart.
Ensures that complete and accurate documentation is maintained.
Ensures accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load.
Responds to and provides emergent care.
Performs administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
Ensures maintenance of equipment and cleanliness of the lab.
Assures preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance with local and federal regulations.
Requires a minimum of one year of experience in performing scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring duties.
Preferred experience is three years in adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or electrophysiology procedures.
Education required includes an Associate's Degree in Invasive Cardiovascular, Cardiopulmonary Technology, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic program, or Surgical Technology.
Alternatively, four years of relevant experience can substitute for the degree.
