We are expanding! Industrial Shadeports, Inc is searching for a full-time Engineering & Operations Manager based out of our Fort Lauderdale location. This Position is responsible for Engineering & Operations for Manufacturing of all types of Shade Sails and Shade Structures. The Engineering & Operations Manager will have the skills and technical knowledge required to profitably grow the business utilizing the following Skills :

Strong communication skills required using all means of communication.

Must work well independently with direction.

Previous experience with steel structures, aluminum structures, canvas awnings, playgrounds, shade sails, custom engineered construction products and projects is required.

Ability to create and maintain a team environment.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, be a team player, able to “hit the ground running” with a get it done attitude. The role is critical to ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed.

Experience with working on large, heavy products and managing multiple departments and conflicting priorities.

Must be able to schedule people and projects to ensure timelines, budgets, quality and safety standards are met.

Requirements :

Engineering : 5 years minimum (Required).

Large scale steel / aluminum fabrication : 5 years minimum (Required).

A VALID, CLEAN FL driver's license and reliable transportation are REQUIRED

Ability and willingness to communicate with Customers

Language : Fluent English (Required), Spanish helpful.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. (We use E-Verify).

Successful completion of pre-employment screening and drivers license check.
