Qualifications :
Associates (A.S.) or Bachelors (B.S.) degree from an accredited college or university highly preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
12 years of related experience and / or training in a similar environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of industrial production or a similar operational setting is helpful.
Background in accounting or finance is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :
Support scale operations, including handling questions, completing ticket edits, and matching data. Fully understand scale operations and provide coverage as needed.
Reconcile production reports to scale data (PC Scales).
Ensure proper acquirements :
Bachelor's Degree required counts are used for waste customers, ash, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, fuel oil, lime, and other materials requiring weights for contractual and environmental permit compliance.
Verify information submitted by shift supervisors for the Daily Operating Report to ensure accuracy in production reports and the FDM.
Review and process invoices.
Analyze actual month-to-date operational statistics versus budget and forecast.
Complete billing reconciliation and correct any errors related to rates, tons billed, or accounts billed.
Assist the Area Controller and Facility Manager with budget tracking, forecast analysis, capital expense tracking, and overall budget package presentation.
Support managers, planners, and buyers with account code questions.
Research expenses to be accrued and report findings to the Facility Controller.
Review operational stats and cost forecasts, and make necessary adjustments.
Assist managers with analysis requests.
Perform administrative tasks such as scanning and sending all special waste paperwork to the billing department.

Strong reasoning skills : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle multiple abstract and concrete variables.
Exceptional computer skills, including advanced Excel, word processing, and graphThe ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues.
