American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring strong recent cardiac scrub and circulating experience in a Level 1 trauma center.

Job Details

  • Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) of a Level 1 trauma center,
  • 12-hour shifts scheduled between 06 : 30 and 19 : 00,
  • Scheduled for 40 hours per week with 36 hours worked,
  • Float required to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and Sterile Processing Department (SPD),
  • Weekend shifts required as part of a rotation,
  • On-call duties approximately one weekend per month,
  • Holiday coverage required,

Job Requirements

  • Active KS RN license required,
  • Current BLS certification required,
  • Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience in a Level 1 trauma center,
  • Recent strong scrub experience on cardiac surgeries and circulating experience required,

    • Additional Information

  • Duties include both scrubbing and circulating on complex cardiovascular surgeries,
  • Must be able to float to other operating rooms and the SPD as needed,
  • Team-oriented environment with weekend and holiday coverage as assigned,
