Final Inspector - Documentation

About the Role

We’re seeking a precise, detail-obsessed Final Inspector to join our quality team. In this role, you’ll own the end-¢ process for aerospace components, ensuring every shipment meets FAA, AS9100, ISO 9001, and ITAR requirements. If you thrive on accuracy and compliance, this position is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately complete and maintain inspection reports, logging measurements, test results, and key findings.
• Develop and update inspection checklists, Certificates of Conformance (COCs), and other quality documents.
• Ensure all paperwork complies with regulatory standards (FAA, AS9100, ISO 9001) and is audit-ready.
• Organize, archive, and retain documentation according to industry best practices and ITAR restrictions.
• Review and edit certification packages for accuracy and completeness prior to shipment approval.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to reflect current processes and best practices in all documentation.
• Provide regular reports on inspection outcomes, quality trends, and areas requiring corrective action.

Experience & Qualifications

Required:

• 1–2 years in document control or quality systems.
• Familiarity with aerospace or other regulated industries (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, etc.).
• Must meet ITAR requirements.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with Discus or ProShop.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
