Job Details

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established urgent care and occupational medicine clinic.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate primary care services to patients across the lifespan.
• Conduct thorough health assessments, diagnose and treat common illnesses, and manage chronic conditions.
• Attend to urgent care needs and treat minor injuries, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
• Handle occupational health cases, including work-related injuries and pre-employment physical examinations.
• Collaborate with employers to ensure compliance with occupational health regulations.
• Administer and interpret drug and alcohol screenings as required.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with patients, employers, and insurance providers.
• Accurately document patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans in electronic medical records.
• Complete necessary paperwork related to workers' compensation claims and occupational health services.

Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California.
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in urgent care or occupational medicine is preferred, DOT certified a plus!
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
