Job Details

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping: invoicing, account reconciliation, tracking receivables/payables

Maintain firm financial records: general ledger entries, month-end close support

Process client billing, collections, and trust accounting compliance

Assist attorneys and support staff with administrative tasks (filing, document prep, calendar management)

Coordinate with outside accountants or auditors when needed

Audit expense reports, vendor invoices, and internal finance queries

Monitor cash flow and flag any discrepancies or issues proactively

Support office operations in ad hoc capacities (ordering supplies, coordinating vendors, etc.)

What We're Looking For:

Strong bookkeeping / accounting experience (2+ years preferred)

Proficiency in QuickBooks (or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel

Comfortable working in a legal environment (familiarity with trust accounting, billing cycles, retention) is a plus

Highly detail-oriented, strong organizational skills

Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines

Good communicator - you'll liaise with attorneys, vendors, clients
