Location : Portage, MI 49002 – Experience Michigan nursing jobs in a welcoming community near Kalamazoo, with beautiful parks and excellent schools.

Assignment Type : Travel RN

Start Date : November 24, 2025

End Date : February 22, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm

Shift : 8-hour day shifts

Hours per Week : 40

Territory : North / East Kalamazoo County, with occasional coverage in Western Calhoun / Barry County

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1920–$1970 per week

RN Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – Michigan nursing license preferred

Minimum 1 year of recent Home Health RN experience

Proficient in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) and OASIS documentation

Current BLS certification

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Strong communication and organizational skills

Home Health RN Responsibilities

Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring high-quality and compassionate service

Perform patient assessments and create individualized care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as prescribed

Accurately document care and patient progress using HCHB and OASIS systems

Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and self-care techniques

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care

Travel within assigned territory to meet patient needs
