ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Burlingame, California.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 3x12 night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • Every other weekend coverage required

    • \n

  • No on-call requirements

    • \n

  • 2 : 1 patient ratio maintained for days, nights, and weekends

    • \n

  • Required to float to all inpatient units including ICU, SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg

    • \n

  • 4 years of nursing experience required

    • \n

  • Travel experience required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS

    • \n

  • California RN licensure required

    • \n

  • Epic charting system experience preferred

    • \n

  • 20 orientation hours provided

    • \n

  • Care for adult and geriatric patients

    • \n

  • Daily census ranges from 16-20 patients

    • \n

  • 24-bed unit capacity

    • \n

  • Extensive skills required including ECMO care, ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and management of various cardiac devices

    • \n

  • Work with specialized equipment including CRRT, IABP, Impella, ECMO, pacemakers, and hemodynamic monitoring systems

    • \n

  • Provide care for CVICU patients recovering from heart surgery, neurological ICU patients including stroke and craniotomy cases, SICU patients, and MICU patients with conditions like sepsis and DKA

The facility features state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support complex patient care needs, including ECMO capabilities and advanced cardiac interventions. The medical center maintains robust interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialized interpretation services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
