Position Overview

We are seeking an accounting professional to assist our financial team. This role is dedicated to reviewing escrow account reconciliations, monitoring outstanding checks and balances, and ensuring files resolve to zero.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile daily, monthly, and quarterly escrow account reports.
• Research and resolve uncleared checks, trial balance variances, and outstanding withdrawals.
• Communicate with attorneys, paralegals, banks, and clients to clear balances.
• Track all unresolved items, escalate issues, and follow through until closed.
• Gain experience and maintain compliance with state bar requirements, ALTA best practices, and internal firm policies.

Qualifications

• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work efficiently as a team.
• Tech-savvy: Comfortable learning new software.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting (or related degree)
• Experience with reconciliation software (Rynoh, Qualia, or similar) preferred.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30AM to 5:00PM

Work Location: The position will be full time and expected to be on site in our Andover, MA office.
