Special Ed Teacher | West Valley City, Utah

An in-person full-time opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a K-3 Life Skills classroom. This contract position runs through the current school year and is located in West Valley City, UT, within Tooele County School District. The role requires a valid Utah Special Education license or certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with life skills needs
• Provide tailored instruction and support to elementary students, enhancing academic and social development
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress and success
• Monitor and document student performance and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment fostering growth and learning

Desired Qualifications:

• Utah Special Education teacher license or certification is required
• Experience teaching students with life skills and special education needs, particularly in K-3 settings
