Job Title : Cash Applications / Loan Servicing Specialist

Location : Tempe, AZ

Pay Rate : $22-$26 per hour

Schedule : Monday-Friday | 8 : 30 AM-5 : 30 PM

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashiering / Loan Servicing Specialist to support daily loan payment processing and servicing functions. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in a financial institution who is comfortable handling high-volume transactions, payment processing, and borrower / vendor communication.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process loan payments including ACH, wire transfers, lockbox, default payments, and loan payoffs
• Apply and post payments accurately to borrower accounts
• Manage repayment activity and ensure proper allocation of funds
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and account issues
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and servicing requests
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with reporting, reconciliation, and documentation related to loan servicing activity
