Overview

The Electrician is responsible for carrying out the direction of the department director to provide a safe atmosphere for all patients, parents, visitors, and employees of the hospital. The Electrician is responsible for the condition of all electrical systems in the hospital and for insuring that all maintenance, repairs, and adjustments are performed in a manner which assures the safety of themselves, patients, parents, visitors, and other employees. The Electrician is responsible to insure that all work performed is at a minimum in compliance with all applicable electrical codes. The Electrician is responsible for carrying out continuous quality improvement efforts. The Electrician assists in developing new procedures, work practices, and data collection, to comply with all City, State, Federal, OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and JCAHO codes / requirements.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $31.96 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work / Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
