Annual Salary Range: $490,800.00 - $508,000.00

MultiCare Health System is seeking an experienced Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join our rapidly growing ICU and outpatient teams in our South Sound Region (Puyallup, WA). Our critical care group manages a high‑acuity, diverse patient population, offering the chance to practice advanced critical care in a collaborative, well‑resourced environment. In the ambulatory setting, you will join a thriving pulmonary practice with strong referral streams, excellent clinic infrastructure, and clear opportunities to develop clinical niches or programmatic interests. This is an outstanding role for a motivated physician who values team‑based care, professional growth, and the opportunity to shape a service line during regional expansion.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a US residency and a pulmonary/critical care fellowship
• Board certified/eligible at time of employment
• Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $490,800.00 - $508,000.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
