The AUKUS, Submarines, and Industrial Base Group (ASIG), within the Sea, Land, Air Division, provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to DRPM SUBS program offices and key stakeholders surrounding submarine construction, industrial base management and workforce development. DRPM SUBS unifies submarine program activities, which includes the Columbia-class SSBN program (the Navy's top acquisition priority), the Virginia-class SSN program, the new SSN-X program, and the AUKUS Pillar I trilateral conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarine program to bring improved capabilities to our undersea forces. Analysts and Engineers supporting DPRM SUBS will continue SPA's decades of support to the SSBN force, as well as supporting oversight of cutting-edge attack submarine construction, assisting in developing the design requirements for the SSN platform of the future, and helping plan and execute new and innovative strategies to strengthen the critical submarine shipbuilding industrial base. These are high-profile, major acquisition and manufacturing programs of significant importance to the future capabilities of the US Navy in an era of renewed strategic competition. SPA has a need for a DevSecOps Engineer in Philadelphia, PA, contingent on contract award. #MC Responsibilities The DevSecOps Engineer will support Naval Surface Warface Center Philadelphia (NSWC PD) clients in development of tools to support Cybersecurity M&S, MBSE, analysis, incident response and assessments as well as integration with other efforts to evaluate, validate, recommend, or implement Cybersecure system design practices. This role is located in person and on client site at Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Qualifications Required Qualifications: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited program, or BS Degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Data Science, Information Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning 5+ years of professional experience integrating hardware and software using Agile and/or DevOps/DevSecOps, in a professional or academic setting Current DoD Security Clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment, minimum SECRET Desired Qualifications: 1+ years professional experience developing HPC code and developing Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence
