The posted compensation range of $37.40 - $55.63 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

Maintains adequate staffing for daily needs reflecting cost efficiency. Trains, assigns and directs the work of staff. Assists with the preparation of the budget and contributes to the development of short-term operational plans for the department.

Maintains communication with patient, staff, and customers regarding the level of services they receive from Environmental Services staff, and promotes patient satisfaction in environmental services (i.e. cleanliness scores). Conducts rounding with patients and staff and ensures their feedback is considered in continuous improvement. Maintains log of patient and staff feedback is considered in continuous improvement.

Surveys regularly all departmental procedures for adherence to sanitation, infection control, regulatory compliance, safety and patient confidentiality standards. Provides an ongoing effective in-service program for all employees of the Environmental Service Department. Maintains regulatory compliance and infection control practices.

Assists with reviewing and maintaining all vendor contracts, monitors the contracts in use and recommends effective utilize vendors to achieve the best possible cost.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year EVS management experience in related field
