[job_card.job_description]Task Completion : Satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management. Punctuality : Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule. Teamwork : Be flexible and work well with peers and management to accomplish duties. Policy Adherence : Follow GUESS Policies and Procedures 100%. Housekeeping : Perform housekeeping duties as required. Sales Goals : Meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) result as assigned by management. Meetings and Functions : Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions. Positive Attitude : Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company. Inventory Participation : Participate in all inventories. Additional Duties : Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management. Physical Requirements : Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts. Customer Service Skills : Excellent communication and customer service skills. Retail Experience : Previous retail experience preferred. Team Player : Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Flexible Schedule : Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Stamina : Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis.
Sales Associate
The Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The Sales Associate will also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc).
Reports To : Store Management
Essential Functions
Customer Experience
- Greeting Customers : Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.
- First Impressions : Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
- Store Standards : Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness.
- Product Information : Provide customers with current relevant information about the product.
- Fitting Room Service : Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale.
- Cash Wrap Efficiency : Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer Gift Cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.
- Customer Appreciation : Sincerely thank all customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store.
