All Pro Equipment Job Description, Responsibilities, and Duties
Position: Counter/ Sales Associate
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with questions and concerns
- Check in equipment for repair and check out equipment when completed
- Complete rental process for customers; check rental inventory before equipment leaves and upon equipment return
- Ensure counter is fully stocked, clean, and parts are put away correctly
- Have ability to complete sales transactions, check on part availability, and look up parts utilizing a parts diagram program
- Maintain a clean and adequate workspace
- Ensure equipment and items are priced with appropriate tags
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of restrooms, showroom floor, and behind counter
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service and go the extra mile to drive sales
- Assess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options. Cross sell products.
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases and returns
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service and build productive customer relationships
- Comply with inventory control procedures
- Assist with annual inventory process
- Specific responsibilities assigned as needed
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Computer literacy and ability to learn point of sale system
- Previous customer service and sales experience including the ability to resolve customer conflicts
- Prior experience in auto parts or repair shop preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Expectations for Hiring:
Candidates must be willing to arrive on time for scheduled work shifts and have reliable transportation. Candidate is expected to be organized and communicate well with co-workers, customers and management.
Work hours 40 hours per week M-F 7:30-5:00 and Sat 8:00-1:00 options for overtime during peak seasons
