Internal Medicine Physician Locums Job in Georgia
Position Overview: The practice is seeking locum tenens support to cover a physician's planned absence. This role is strictly ambulatory Internal Medicine with no hospital responsibilities.
Details/Requirements:
Start Date: April 1, 2026
Duration: Approximately 6 weeks (ending May 31, 2026)
Setting: Outpatient Internal Medicine clinic
Board Specialty: Internal Medicine
Board Certification: Required
Schedule & Expectations
Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Days per Week: 4
Hospital Call: None
Patient Volume: 17 patients per day
Team Structure:
Work alongside 3 physicians
1 APP onsite for added support
Skills & Certifications
Required: Board Certification in Internal Medicine
Preferred/Required Certifications: Standard primary care competencies (no specialty procedures indicated)
