Network Engineer

Network Engineer (Operations & Engineering) Location: Philadelphia, PA (4 days On-site) Experience: 5 - 10 Years Seeking a 'Jack of all trades' DevOps Engineer with a 50/50 expertise split between Linux Systems and Networking. This role focuses on the operations, engineering, and physical triage of on-premise hardware and network stacks. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform end-to-end troubleshooting from Layer 1 (Physical) through Layer 3 and the Application layer. Support and troubleshoot routing protocols, specifically BGP, EGP, and EIGRP. Hands-on troubleshooting of HPE (primary), Dell, and EMC server stacks. Participate in a 13 day rotation with offshore escalation support after 7:00 PM ET. SKILLS Expert-level CLI proficiency and a deep system troubleshooting mindset. Strong understanding of OSI Layers 1 - 3 and routing protocols. Proven experience managing and repairing physical server infrastructure. 5 - 10 years of experience in high-uptime operations environments. Candidates with physical data center or hardware experience.
