divh2PSC Business Manager / h2pThe PSC Business Manager will be responsible for accurate expense tracking, budget forecasting and providing information to the Cost Accounting team accurately and in a timely manner. This role will work closely with Pharmaceutical Supply Chain (PSC) Business Units to understand the procurement plan, and track budget and timeline for contracts with the Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and other vendors. This role will collaborate with Finance teams to streamline the processes for PSC budget forecasting and expense accruals through process and tool improvements. / ppEssential Duties / Responsibilities : / pulliWork closely with PSC Subject Matter Experts to gain comprehension of project plans. / liliTrack and monitor projects for work completion, cost and timeline through the project lifecycle. / liliMonitor and reconcile POs closure, change value to match with the contracts as per the policy. / liliQuarterly expense and invoicing confirmation, and resolution with vendors. / liliFacilitate and coordinate monthly expense accruals update with PSC SMEs, and ensure accurate and timely update to Finance. / liliSupport budget and forecasting process organize the PO and expense data, and coordinate with PSC SMEs to get inputs on the forecast. / liliCoordinate with PSC teams to provide response to Finance teams for the queries related to budget, accruals, invoicing, Pos. / liliEnsure adherence to relevant SOX compliance as applicable to PSC. / liliSupport other activities such as material valuation, Master Data Management processes. / liliProject management for new initiatives, projects or system implementation as needed. / liliDrive process improvement through data gathering and analysis, stakeholder engagement and communication. / li / ulpSupervisory Responsibilities : / pulliNone. / li / ulpEducation / Experience / Knowledge Skills : / pulliBS / BA degree in related discipline and a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or, / liliMS / MA degree in related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or, / liliEquivalent combination of education and experience. / liliLean Six Sigma / Project Management certification is a plus. / li / ulpExperience : / pulli5 to 9 years of experience in project management, manufacturing or supply chain in Pharmaceutical industry. / liliExperience in leading and managing cross-functional initiatives. / liliExperience in prioritization and execution of multiple competing projects. / liliMust have worked effectively with MS Office tools Excel, PowerPoint. / liliMust have experience working with stakeholders at varied levels. / liliExperience in Finance or coordination with Finance is desired. / liliExperience in driving process improvement through data analysis and stakeholder engagement. / li / ulpKnowledge, Skills and Abilities : / pulliUnderstanding of Pharmaceutical development lifecycle and manufacturing processes. / liliProject management skills. / liliGood analytical skills. / liliSome understanding of Financial processes is desired. / liliExperience working with SAP or other ERP systems is desired. / liliKnowledge of process improvement methodologies Lean Six Sigma. / liliAbility to work effectively across a variety of functional groups such as Research and Development, Chemistry Manufacturing Controls (CMC), Clinical Studies and Finance, and all levels of management. / liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills. / liliDetail oriented with emphasis on accuracy and completeness. / liliMust embrace Exelixis core values : Be Exceptional, Excel for Patients, and Exceed Together. / liliWorks with cross-functional stakeholders to get alignment and decisions in a timely manner. / liliWorks on business problems requiring data analysis and change management. / liliActs as a communication bridge between Finance and Business Functions. / liliEnvironment : primarily working indoors in an office environment. / li / ulpWork Environment / Physical Demands : / ppOur office is a modern, open-plan space that fosters collaborations and creativity.
