We're Hiring : Oracle Developer!

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Developer to join our team in Tallahassee. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database design, development, and optimization using Oracle technologies. You will play a key role in enhancing our database systems to support business objectives and improve performance.

Location : Tallahassee, FL

Work Mode : Work From Office

Role : Oracle Developer (On-site)

Contract Duration : 1 year + possibility of extension / conversion to permanent role

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and implement Oracle database solutions
Optimize SQL queries for improved performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly
Conduct data modeling and database architecture planning
Ensure adherence to best practices in database management

What Were Looking For

5+ years of experience in application development using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and PL / SQL

Experience with Oracle Database development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Middleware components such as WebLogic Server and Oracle HTTP Server

Experience integrating applications with enterprise financial systems such as Florida PALM and FLAIR

Knowledge of State of Florida accounting practices from a technical implementation perspective

Experience ensuring PCI compliance in application development

Preferred Experience

Knowledge of the Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) or Florida PALM

Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Experience with version control systems and CI / CD pipelines

Knowledge of application and data security best practices

Experience working in a government or public sector environment

Education Requirements

Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Oracle Certifications

Preferred : Oracle PL / SQL Developer, Oracle APEX Developer, or Oracle Middleware certifications
