Radiologic Technologist (Variable Shift) - 1.0 FTE
Location : PeaceHealth Valley River Pediatric Priority Care Clinic
PeaceHealth is looking for a caring and adaptable Radiologic Technologist to join our Valley River Pediatric Priority Care Clinic in Eugene, Oregon. This full-time, variable-shift position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with children, thrives in a busy clinic setting, and is comfortable supporting both imaging and general clinic workflows.
About the Role
This role is primarily based at our Valley River Pediatric Priority Care Clinic, but will sometimes be working at other nearby PeaceHealth clinics to help with staffing needs. You'll perform diagnostic X-rays while also assisting with a range of tasks that support smooth daily operations. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $40.11 - $60.17. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
Key responsibilities include :
Performing diagnostic X-ray exams
Rooming patients and preparing exam rooms
Stocking and maintaining equipment and supplies
Supporting clinical workflows and the care team
Organizing daily work and completing related clerical tasks
Providing patient education before and after exams
Following ALARA principles to ensure radiation safety
Offering training to staff and students as needed
Completing other duties within your scope of practice
Who We're Looking For
Someone who :
Enjoys working with children and families (pediatric experience preferred)
Works well in a fast-moving, team-based environment
Has a positive, supportive approach
Is flexible and comfortable working across departments and varied schedules, including some weekends and holidays
Education
Experience
Experience applying age-specific principles of growth and development required
Pediatric experience preferred
New graduates who meet qualifications are welcome to apply
Credentials
ARRT-eligible or ARRT(R) certified at time of hire; ARRT(R) required within 6 months
Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) registration required; temporary license accepted while awaiting ARRT
Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire

PeaceHealth Valley River Pediatric Priority Care Clinic operates 10 : 30 a.m.-9 : 00 p.m. Your schedule may vary when providing coverage at other local clinics. Some weekend and holiday availability is expected.
