Job Summary:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely delivery and pickup of outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers and handheld equipment, to and from customer locations. This role represents the company in the field and requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment
• Deliver new, serviced, or rental equipment to residential and commercial customers
• Pick up customer equipment for service or repair and ensure proper documentation
• Perform basic inspections of equipment at delivery and pickup
• Obtain customer signatures and verify delivery/pickup details
• Communicate delivery schedules, delays, or issues to customers and management
• Maintain delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic records as required
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Assist with equipment staging, yard organization, and general shop duties when not making deliveries
• Assist in assembly of equipment, organizing show room and basic janitorial tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of delivery vehicles and trailers
• Follow all safety procedures related to loading, transport, and unloading of equipment

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely tow and back trailers
• Experience driving delivery trucks or trailers preferred
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs and operate ramps and tie-downs
• Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with lawn equipment is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Work performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Exposure to power equipment, fuel, noise, and moving machinery

Work Schedule:

• Part-time, Mon - Fri 7:30am – 5:00pm
• Schedule may vary, schedule subject to change

Compensation:

• Competitive pay based on experience
• This is an Hourly position, payroll is biweekly on Fridays
