A company is looking for a Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE).
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize databases across AWS RDS, Aurora, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server
Act as a key responder for critical production database incidents and conduct root cause analysis
Lead efforts to standardize database access and ensure compliance with security and governance standards
Required Qualifications
3-5 years in a database-focused engineering or reliability role
Strong hands-on expertise with AWS RDS & Aurora, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server administration
Understanding of performance tuning, high availability, replication, and backup operations
Experience supporting mission-critical production databases
Familiarity with monitoring and observability best practices
