This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape a high-energy YouTube reality‑challenge series, following two European contestants as they undertake extreme moral tests across the U.S. for a $100,000 prize. The editor will transform hours of dynamic, unscripted footage into compelling, fast‑paced episodes in the style of leading YouTube creators.

Working closely with creative briefs, you will craft strong narrative arcs, integrate interviews, voiceovers, overlays, text callouts, meme captions, SFX, and music beds, ensuring each episode is engaging and visually impactful. The position is based in Miami with a hybrid work approach, ideal for editors passionate about reality, challenge, or documentary content and who thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

Edit and post‑produce 1–2 long‑form episodes or major segments per week (15–25 minutes each)

Occasionally create short‑form content for promotional use

Build cohesive narratives from multiple hours of raw footage per location

Apply fast‑paced, high‑energy editing techniques to match top YouTube standards

Integrate interviews, VO / narration, overlays, text callouts, meme captions, SFX, and music beds

Follow detailed creative briefs and respond promptly to feedback using frame.io

Collaborate with producers and team members to ensure timely delivery of episodes

Manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines

Skills And Requirements

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential

Experience with After Effects is highly desirable

Strong storytelling instincts and ability to craft engaging narratives from unscripted footage

Demonstrated experience editing challenge, reality, or fast‑paced documentary YouTube content

Familiarity with YouTube trends, pacing, and audience engagement strategies

Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Miami

Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback

Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
