About the Unit : \n
10 South at UPMC Montefiore is a 30-bed acuity-adaptable medical unit caring for stepdown and telemetry patients. We see a general medical patient population as well as overflow patients from orthopedics, ENT, hepatology, urology, and abdominal transplant. This is a team-driven unit, and we see a diverse population of patients at various levels of acuity, making 10 South a great fit for graduate nurses and nurses seeking to gain inpatient experience and / or expand their clinical knowledge.
