To perform chairside assistance in all dental treatment procedures in the assigned department of the College of Dentistry or as assigned by Supervisor.

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum of six months post high school education / experience related to Dentistry.
  • Certification as a dental assistant or ability to obtain a dental assistant certificate within one year of hire date.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program.
  • Microsoft Word,Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to work independently
  • Infection Control
  • Teamwork skills
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritize duties
