Software Development Engineer / Full-Stack Developer, Ring

As a Software Development Engineer you would be working, as full-stack developer, together with IQ Engineers to get their test results presented in a user friendly and easy to use portal. You can use the latest and greatest technologies in web development and keep your skills up to date at all times.

This work requires full-stack development skills. The main coding language is Python, but ReactJs knowledge is appreciated. We use AWS cloud to run the software, basic AWS deployment skills are required.

In this position, you will get to see the latest and greatest things in the camera industry not yet in the market down to products in shops.

Key job responsibilities

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for getting the most out of our tests and measurement capabilities. Both presenting the data in an understandable format and also mining more from given data.

In order for you to be successful in your job you should have good skills in Python and have a basic understanding in creating and optimizing algorithms.

Camera skills are not needed but very much appreciated and will help you getting started.

A day in the life

New test is created, it produces measurements in JSON format, IQ engineer wants to have a simple analysis done from the JSON and results visible as traffic lights. You start creating a PoC.

As a long-term activity you are also working with optimizing video analysis algorithm to produce the same analysis data in lesser time.

Around 9 AM and 2 PM people gather in coffee places and at lunch time in local cafeterias. This is a good time for refreshing your brain with some non-technical discussion.
