Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Freight Handler / Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Freight Handler / Forklift Operator, you will be part of the operations department supporting the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Freight Handler / Forklift Operator

Location : Hayward, CA

Pay Range : $22.00 / hr

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm

What's the Job?

  • Move product and material using various manual or equipment operations.
  • Verify information, prepare orders, and complete appropriate documents.
  • Operate a forklift when required and ensure safe handling of materials.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
  • Assist with training and providing basic work instructions to new hires or transfers.

What's Needed?

  • Forklift experience is required.
  • Ability to work the 3pm-11pm shift, Monday to Friday.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and material handling.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Commitment to ensuring a safe and effective work environment.
