Wastewater Technician/Plant Operator

Salary: $20-$25 DOE

Brooks Grease Service is adding a Wastewater Technician/Plant operator to our growing Kansas City plant. A Successful candidate is a reliable, dependable, motivated and able to take direction and work independently and with others. The employee may be required to be outdoors in all weather conditions, which may be extreme.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Job Description:

• Unloading and loading food grade grease trap liquids and sludge from and to Vacuum trucks and tankers
• Monitoring process tank volumes and temperatures
• Utilizing D.A.F. (dissolved Air Filtration) for processing water
• Operating pumps to transfer product to screeners, D.A.F. and sewer discharge
• Driving a forklift
• Documenting data for water samples
• Maintaining clean work area
• Helping where needed in the plant
  
• Normal working days are Mon- Fri 5am - 3pm
