About The Position
Clinical Architecture is seeking a Software Test Engineering to join our team in the Indianapolis IN area. The Software Test Engineer will have the primary responsibility of validating windows based and web-based applications. This role will be responsible for analyzing requirements creating test cases and manual test executi on . Additionally the Software Test Engineer will be responsible for communicating findings and documenting defects concisely with the Software Development team . The Software Test Engineer s focus is to ensure the code is correct and the software functions as expected according to the business requirements. The Software Test Engineer also helps foster a culture of quality and produce s quality software with high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements.
- Design document andmaintaintest cases and other applicable test artifacts.
- Peer review planning documents.
- Executetests on software for functionality and usability.
- Traverse andvalidatedatabase entries using SQLqueries.
- Detect and track defectsforre-testing to ensure a proper resolution is implemented.
- Performexploratory ad-hocregression load and system testing.
- Review end-user documentation providing feedbackongaps design flawsand wording issues.
- Research and support customer reportedissues.
- Validate software performance.
- Participating in design reviews.
- Supportthe Automationteamproviding test scenarios and data.
- Communicate withtheEngineeringteamconcerning reported issues.
- Communicate withtheProduct Managementteamconcerning requirements.
- Provide process improvement feedback to promote a culture ofquality.
- Acquirean understanding of Clinical Architectures Products.
Qualifications
Associate degree inComputerScienceInformation Technology or equivalent work experiencerequired.3yearsexperiencetesting applications for usability functionality and performancerequired.CTFL or equivalentcertification preferred.Experience in writing SQL statements and traversingdatabases preferred.Codingexperience preferred.Experience with APItesting preferred.Skills
