A company is looking for a Nuclear Methods Engineer to support nuclear analysis methods for reactor design and licensing.
Key Responsibilities
Develop neutronics methods for fast spectrum molten salt reactor analysis
Implement nuclear analysis methodologies using Python software
Conduct core design activities, including fuel management strategies and radiation damage calculations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering with 6-10 years of relevant experience
Experience in nuclear design / analysis methodologies, particularly for fast-neutron reactors
Proficiency in radiation transport software; experience with MCNP or OpenMC preferred
Programming experience in any language, preferably in scientific computing, with Python skills as a bonus
Experience with nuclear methodology in compliance with ASME NQA-1 is preferred
