Environmental Permitting Director

A company is looking for an Environmental & Permitting Director in Nuclear Energy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead environmental and permitting strategies aligned with corporate and project objectives

Direct the quality and regulatory consistency of environmental documentation and permit applications

Supervise and mentor environmental staff and coordinate cross-functional integration with engineering and licensing teams

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in environmental regulation, permitting, or environmental review

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, ecology, natural resources, or related field; advanced degree preferred

Strong technical knowledge of NEPA processes and environmental impact analysis

Experience engaging with permitting authorities across federal, state, tribal, and local jurisdictions

Proven ability to lead teams and develop integrated environmental strategies aligned with project schedules
