Nurse Program Coord - East Valley

Position Summary

This RN will coordinate the care of the Hematology/Oncology and infusion patients that are seen at the East Valley CCBD location.
Duties include but not limited to; phone triage, med refills, coordinating appointments and medication orders, and education. This position supports 1-2 providers in clinic as well as supporting the infusion nurses as needed. Prefer a candidate with hem/onc experience as well as APHON chemo certification. Schedule; work 9/80 (9 days a pay period) 8am-5pm; NO Holidays/Weekends or Call!!! Hurry, this is a great opportunity to grow with Phoenix Childrenâ€s!!

This position coordinates the patient care services, workflow, and activities provided by nursing and support staff of assigned program. This position provides guidance, support, and direction to staff to ensure consistent provision of developmentally appropriate quality patient care in accordance with all applicable federal, regulatory, and professional standards and requirements.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Required)
• Masters degree in Nursing. (Preferred)

Experience

• Three years clinical practice experience. (Required)
• Experience with pediatric patient populations. (Preferred)

Certifications

• Current State of Arizona RN license OR an RN license from a compact state with multi-state privileges OR ability to establish required Arizona RN licensure prior to start date. (Required)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. (Required)
