Overview:

In partnership with a major Healthplan we are innovating to close gaps in care, delivering healthcare to people who haven’t had visits, with real-time telehealth visits. You will provide oversight to Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants PAs who will provide preventative care to new mothers and children.

Job Description :

As a Collaborating Physician you will supervise Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants performing telehealth post-partum and well-child visits on ages 3 to 21. Providers will not be responsible for acute care, chronic illness management, or prescribing of medications (providers will be the first link into the healthcare system and refer out for ongoing treatments.)

Duties :

You will perform chart reviews of 5% of patient charts

You will be provided with the charting and coding templates for your ease of reviewing.

You will need to provide expedient call coverage for questions from NPs and PAs, (which will be few due to the limited scope of services). The hours required to be covered will eventually be 6AM to 10 PM 7 days a week. Physicians interested in participating in call sharing will be provided with the opportunity.

Qualifications :

Board Certified Family Practice Physician (MD or DO) with license in good standing in Ohio.

Enrollment in Medicaid in the state of interest.

We are still working on ironing out the pay rate and am unsure if this will be an hourly rate or if the physician will be paid based on each chart reviewed.
