**Job Title: Picker/Packer**
**Job Summary:**
As a Picker/Packer at Walmart, you will play a critical role in the fulfillment process by accurately selecting and packing merchandise for shipping to customers or Walmart stores. **Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Order Picking:**

- Verify product details, quantities, and quality before packing to ensure customer satisfaction.
2. **Product Packaging:**
- Pack merchandise securely and appropriately for shipping, using packaging materials such as boxes, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts.
- Label packages with shipping information, barcodes, and tracking numbers.
- Ensure that packages are sealed properly to prevent damage during transit.
3. **Quality Control:**
- Inspect merchandise for any defects, damages, or discrepancies before packing, and report any issues to supervisors.
- Follow quality control procedures to maintain high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Handle fragile or delicate items with care to prevent breakage or damage during packing and shipping.
4. **Inventory Management:**

6. **Team Collaboration:**

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and managers to coordinate tasks, resolve issues, and ensure efficient workflow.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, order picking, or packing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with handheld devices and warehouse management systems is desirable.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and maneuver bulky items using appropriate equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing merchandise.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and maneuver bulky items using appropriate equipment.
- Physical agility to bend, stoop, reach, and stand for extended periods.
