[job_card.job_description]Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule required Float to all inpatient units as needed Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back Must have Wisconsin RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications Must be able to pass EKG test during first week of hire Minimum 1 year strong cardiac experience required (Cardiac SDU / Intermediate Cardiac / Cardiac ICU) 2 years IMC / PCU / Tele experience required Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips required At least one completed travel assignment required 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required Contractors must be outside 50-mile radius of facility Care for 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit with typical 1 : 4 patient ratio Treat post-op CABG / Valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF patients Handle post-procedure cath, pacer, defibrillator, ablations, acute chest pain / MI cases Manage medical / surgical overflow including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, respiratory failure Any color scrubs permitted Fast-paced environment with high patient turnover requiring independent work and timely task completion Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred Must wear mask at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination Referral bonus
