Compensation: Commensurate with Experience ($21.00 - $24.00 per hour)

Position excludes day pay rate or incentive day pay rate.

Texmore Incorporated, is a leading waste and scrap metal hauling company dedicated to providing Residential, Commercial, and Industrial customers with unparalleled roll-off, sanitation, and recycling collection services. We service the entire Greater Houston area, and are based in Manvel Texas.

Position Summary:
The Roll Off Driver is responsible for safely operating roll off trucks to pick up and deliver waste containers for disposal or recycling. This role is vital to ensuring customer satisfaction, efficiency, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations within the Waste Masters division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate roll off trucks in a safe and professional manner in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.

• Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries of roll off containers at customer locations.

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections using company-issued electronic devices.

• Accurately complete and submit electronic logs, truck inspections, and order documentation.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and efficient service.

• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicle.

• Adhere to all safety protocols including wearing required PPE and reporting safety concerns.

• Work independently while managing time and routes effectively.

• Work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays and required overtime.

• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating a bobtailed roll off truck.

Skills:

• Strong communication and time management skills.

• Ability to operate electronic devices for job documentation.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Certifications/Licenses:

• Valid Class A preferred, or must possess a minimum of Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

• TWIC card required or the ability to obtain one.

• Clean driving record required – Must pass MVR

• Must pass pre-employment background checks and DOT drug testing.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Prolonged periods of sitting and driving.

• Frequent bending, stooping, and climbing in and out of the truck.

Work Environment:

Outdoor work environment involving driving and customer site visits. Exposure to various weather conditions and various waste materials.
