What we need :

We are looking for a committed, experienced construction leader to join our team in Georgia. The Construction Project Manager oversees and manages daily project needs, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves coordinating with a team of automation technicians, subcontractors, and client Project Managers, to ensure project success. Preference will be given to candidates with electrical and mechanical experience, and within commuting distance to Augusta, Georgia. This position is in-office and customer location based.

Your responsibilities :

• Supervise daily construction sites, ensuring work is progressing as planned.
• Coordinate and monitor the activities of subcontractors, construction workers, and vendors.
• Lead site meetings to communicate updates, issues, and expectations.
• Investigating, processing, and submitting RFI's, Submittals, and other construction documents or correspondence to support execution of construction projects.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, ensuring all equipment and tools are properly maintained and safe to use.
• Assist with scheduling and managing the work schedule to meet project deadlines.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and materials to be delivered at specified times to comply with work schedules.
• Track and report progress on the construction project, ensuring milestones are met.
• Monitor project costs and assist in controlling expenses to stay within budget.
• Prepares reports on progress, materials used and costs and adjusts work schedules as needed to meet schedule.
• Assist with the preparation of change order scopes, estimates and schedule coordination.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise on-site, whether technical, personnel-related, or material-related.
• Communicate timely and effectively with management and other stakeholders regarding project concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, work hours, material use, and safety incidents.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports to update project stakeholders on progress and any issues or delays.
• Provide guidance, training, and motivation to construction workers and teams.
• Promote a professional, positive, productive, and safety-conscious work environment.
