About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice PA in Wisconsin!

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 6-week locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin. This opportunity begins on Dec 9, 2025, with scheduled day shifts from 7a-5p, covering select dates in December. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in primary care or urgent care outpatient settings and is prepared to deliver high-quality patient care as part of a collaborative medical team.

  • Schedule : Dec 9, Dec 17, Dec 23, Dec 24, Dec 30, Dec 31 (all shifts 7a-5p)

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary and urgent care in an outpatient setting
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions for a diverse patient population
  • Perform clinical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and manage therapies in accordance with DEA regulations
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using Athenahealth EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical protocols and safety standards

    • Additional Information

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in primary care or urgent care outpatient settings required
  • Active licensure in Minnesota required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
  • Proficiency with Athenahealth EMR preferred
